The Pancharevo Lake, or Pancharevo Lake, is a reservoir in the upper course of the Iskar River, on the territory of Sofia Municipality. The beautiful nature and its proximity to Sofia make it a favorite place for excursions and rest of Sofia citizens.

It is located 12 km south of the center of Sofia in the direction of Samokov and Borovets, 2 km from the ring road, along Samokovsko Shosse Str.

It is situated at the very end of the picturesque Pancharevo Gorge, between Vitosha Mountain and the Lozen Mountains, at the flow of the Bistritsa River in Iskar.

The area combines the unique landscape of the water area and the middle mountain.

Its eastern coast is occupied by oak and pine forests, and the slopes descend steeply to the water, somewhere ending with scree.
